he age of technology we live in has transformed the traditional education system greatly and redefined roles of teacher and student. While teachers of the previous generation were authority figures who were highly respected and at times even feared; today with the easy and immediate access to knowledge and information through internet and social media channels, teacher is no longer the only source of knowledge. The interactive ground initiated by technology encourages students to think critically, actively engage with the material and shape their own learning process whereas their previous role had been the passive recipient of information.
